About the event
Somewhere between the rocks and the bright, waxy anthurium flowers, beneath a shower of rose petals and the scent of freshly stained wood, within the light streams of resin and the gentle chime of crystal, we could hear the heart beating – ours, and those representing the 12 countries gathered in the hall. At some point, these hearts connected, creating a sense that as long as they all beat in the same rhythm, there is a hope that together we can create a more beautiful world. If not forever, then for one evening. And though it may seem like just a moment to some, it is far from insignificant. Moments create memories, and memories last a lifetime.
