SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY PROJECT “RESPONSIB’ALL DAY”

GOAL

Reduce the number of people who drive under the influence of alcohol.

IDEA AND RESULTS

Within the framework of the social responsibility project “Responsib’All Day”, the Wise Drinking mobile app was developed to educate consumers about responsible alcohol use and to reduce the number of people driving under the influence. The app helps determine the amount of alcohol consumed and, if the limit is exceeded, provides suggestions for the nearest public transport or connects the user with a taxi operator.

At the same time, the social responsibility project “Responsib’All Day” was organised in 80 countries for the fifth time. Its objective was to promote discussion, to combat drunk driving and to decrease the consumption of alcohol by minors. All the branches of Pernod Ricard, from Shanghai and Los Angeles to Paris and Riga, conducted a number of activities as part of the project “Responsib’All Day”: for example, an exhibition about the consequences of excessive consumption of alcohol and its prevention, as well as information campaigns, forums and educational programmes. In total, 20,000 people from 80 countries participated in these activities.
